PURPOSE

Preservation of wildlife and their natural environment

OBJECTIVES 
The objectives of the fund are first and foremost the preservation of the natural environment and the care and rehabilitation of wildlife, and to impart knowledge and skills of conservation of wildlife and the environment in a sustainable manner, in the face of development and human interference. 

GOALS
* Programs to protect, rescue and rehabilitate wildlife that is either endangered, or has been injured, abandoned or orphaned through human interference.
* Education and assistance to new and existing wildlife carers in developing the skills required for rescue and rehabilitation of wildlife which has been injured, orphaned or abandoned as a result of human interference.
* Assisting wildlife carers (initially in the Banana Shire) with some of the resources required and expense incurred in caring for wildlife until its’ timely soft release.
* Providing assistance for veterinary care and treatment.
* Community awareness and education of the general public, with some focus on companies and individuals involved in  development, about the importance of co-habiting with and preserving our wildlife and its’ habitat in a sustainable manner. This  being achieved through events, awareness talks/workshops and specific information sessions, and development of various specialised programs.
* Assisting with community based conservation and children’s education programs.
* Awareness of the plight of rare and endangered species in the local region and throughout Australia as well as internationally.
* Education and empowerment of indigenous persons through encouraging active involvement in conservation and rehabilitation programs. 
*Development of strategic soft-release areas for the important latter stages of wildlife rehabilitation and release back to their natural environment.
* Offering financial and material support to selected international programs and not-for-profit organisations with
  objects consistent with the Company’s Objects and that are noted on international environmental charity registers, focusing on the preservation of wildlife and the environment including anti-poaching, endangered species research and protection, disease surveillance, veterinary assistance and rehabilitation. All programs will be those myself or other board members have a close npersonal association with.
* Management of fund raising activities to fund the goals of the Company and meet the Objects.
